Mother's Day Card

Hi again paper pals!
I was working on my Mother's Day card today and wanted to share it with you. I got my insperation from Arlene at Mybutterflykisses. I used a standard 5x7 card, distressed inked around the edges and added photo corners to each corner. Using black cardstock I heat embossed Ranger's Black embossing powerder to give it that aged look. I added one of the talented Arlenes lollipop flowers she made to the bottom of the card and also added  Prmia pearl swirl and Prima Fairytale rose buds along the side with a tattered heart. I used a SU punch around Happy Mother's Day. I also added a photo from google (typed in Vintage Woman) and beaded fringe at the bottom to finish it off. I hope you like it. MPS Pink, Green & Black Challenge

Hello My Paper Buddies!

Here is a little card I made for My Pink Stampers Pink, Green & Black Challenge today. I used the Just Because Cards Cartridge and cut the little Scottie Dog. I used some black glossy chip board letters for the work HELLO and Prima flowers with of course and little bling in the center.

Create A Critter Cart :)

Hello again everyone!
The mail man just delivered my Create A Critter Cart this afternoon and so I just had to make up a little card. Here is a simple card using the piggy cut from the cartridge and cut at 3". This cart seems very simple and has so many cute images on it. Ill be sharing more soon.

Just Because Cards Cartridge

Hi Paper Lovers!
Here is a little card I made this beautiful afternoon. Using my JBC cart I cut all the images out at 6" except for the oval, for a reminder if you do not know, the stencil cut, cuts out at real size, so I had to cut that out at 2". I think it turned out pretty cute!

Hi Everyone!
Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter weekend :)
I wanted to share a few little cards I had made over the week. I just dropped them in the mailbox today, yes, they will arrive a  little late but at least I got them out :)
I even got to play with my new Copic markers and made a little bunny card for my son and his girlfriend. Im enjoying coloring again, I have'nt done that in years. The Copic's are very fun to play with, Im still learning about the shading and I need to get more colors. I purchased 25 colors yesterday at Oh Scrap in Costa Mesa CA, it's a great scrapbooking store and they have a wide variety of things, a little to much cause every time I go in there Im always leaving with more than I planned to buy LOL!

1. I live with the man of my dreams (Shane). We've been together for 8 years and going strong.

2. I have 2 beautiful children, Brittany who's 24 & Chadd who is18, Im so proud of them.

3. I have to have my coffee in the morning with lots and lots of cream in it.

4. I started making cards when I received my Cricut last May for my birthday (2009) and Im loving all of the paper crafting Im learning to do.

5. I LOVE the beach, any beach as long as there are waves and sand I am happy. I often go to the beach just to walk the shore and think or drive down along the coast and smell the salt air. I love doing that.

6. My favorite color is blue but I wear more black then anything.

7. Im 47 and my birthday is in May

8. I love vanilla ice cream, it's a weakness, expecially late at night.

9. My other passion is arranging flowers.

10. I love to organize parties and decorate for them too.

Love This Paper!

Hi Paper Lovers! I just received this paper pac over the weekend and I had to jump in right away and start using it, it's by BasicGrey and is called Lemon Aid, Its so dang cute! So I grabbed my Straight From The Nest cartridge and went to town. Straight From The Nest

Hi paper lovers! I reveived my new Straight From The Nest cartridge this afternoon and right away I had to make a couple of little cards. I L-O-V-E this cartridge! It has so many cute images on it and so much variety. I hope you enjoy these cards and I hope you are going to add this cart to your collection. Its a must have! Well I think so :)
Also, I made a Blinky Button and added it to my page, If you want, I know you want to ;) go a head and grab it and add it to your blog to help pass the word. My Replacement Cricut Arrived!

Hi fellow crafters! I just had to share this great news. Im back Cricut-ing! Within 4 days I received my replacement Cricut Expressions! 4 days! WOW! what great customer service. I thought Id wait weeks for it. It arrived this morning (Tuesday) via UPS. It is a brand new one with extra cartriges and even a new matt & blade. The cartridges I already have but if anyone is interested in them I'll pass them on to you. They are Plantin Schoolbook and Accent Essentials, so if your interested pls leave me a message on here and Ill be more than happy to send them out to you. I just am so happy and wanted to share the great news with you.

A Few Simple Cards

Hello fellow crafters! I just wanted to share a few simple cards I made over the weekend. Im still without my Cricut but Im hanging in there. So this is what I came up with, using cardstock a few little flowers, a little ribbon and of course a littl glitter to brighten things up.

My Cricut just broke! But I got this card finished!

Hi fellow crafters! Hope all of you are having a better day then I am. Yesterday I was making some cards using my Cricut and the needle houseing started to skip cuts along the edges of the matt. I called customer service to report this and as they went through a few diagnostic tests and it still failed to cut completely. They have decided to send me a replacement machine and Im to return my broken one upon the arrival. What great customer service! I thought Id have to return this one and wait weeks, but they are putting a rush on it! yeah! Im still without my Cricut for a little bit but Im so happy with their return policy. I had a problem months ago with my Gypsy not syncing with my Expressions and their customer service was terrififc then as well.
Ill still be posting a few simple cards over the weekend, so come back and let me know what you think. Before my machine stopped working I was working on a Wedding card for my boyfriends boss, their wedding is going to be in Maui in July (I know its a little early to be thinking about it but I had some inperation with my TC Wedding paper collection and could'nt wait lol)

Happy St. Patrick's Day Card

Hi Everyone! I'm starting to make a few St. Paddy's Day cards and wanted to share my first one so far. I used the Paperdoll DressUp cartridge. The leperechaun was cut at 3" and the lucky pot of gold filled with yellow buttons was cut at 4". The word LUCKY was cut using the Don Juan cartridge at 1 1/2".
I think it came out pretty cute. I'm sending it to my good friend Lisa and her Irish boyfriend and I'm sure they will love it!

Hi everyone, wanted to share one of the many Valentine's cards that I made. I love this little monkey, he's so dang cute. I used the Sweathearts cartridge to make most of my Valentine cards.
This cartridge is great, it covers such a wide variety of topics from valentine's to weddings and its great for anything love related.
