Almost 100 Followers!

Hello Paper Lovers!

Im so excited to share with you that Im ONE away from 100 follower/friends :) And with that exciting news, Im having my first GIVE A WAY! Im waiting to hit the 100 mark and Ill be giving a way the NEW Pink ATG Gun! YEAH! Who wouldnt want that in their hot little hands :)

Ive Been Moving...

Hi Paper Lovers...
Sorry Ive been away for so long now but we went to Hawaii (Maui) for a wedding, when we returned we began the moving process into our new home in Ladera Ranch CA. We are getting settled over the past week and I have some exciting news to share with all of you! I get my very own craft room! Im so excited about it and looking forward to sharing it with you through the process of getting it set up. I decided to paint it a lime like green color, the color is by Martha Stewart and Im loving it, Im going to be putting white desks in, with black accents. Im looking for black and white damask curtains at the moment. If you have any suggestions or have found something that works great in your craft room pls share it with me :)

I hope to be back sharing projects with you in a few weeks. Im missing making cards and using my Cricut! its packed away in a box and I still have to find which box it is in lol!

Ive missed all of you, but have been looking at your blogs everyday still :) There is so much wonderful and creative ppl out there it just blows me away, I greatly enjoy seeing what you make, keep up the great work and talk to you soon.

Hoot & Holler and Dude Cartridge

What A Wonderful Suprise!

I wanted to share with you this wonderful Blog Award I was given by Liz at LizsPaperLoft (you have to swing by her blog and check her out, shes amazing!) I feel that Im not worthy of this award due to I have not posted much lately but Ive been packing up our home to move, we bought a new home and Im so excited. I started to pack up everything to get a head start on it and even packed up my craft room :( I recently went and purchased 2 new Cricut Lite Cartridges, Dude and Hoot & Holler, they are so cute I had to dig through my boxes and make a couple of cards which Ill be sharing with you soon. I also purchased Mini Monsters but have not used it yet, but will share with you as soon as I do.

Fathers Day Card

Hi Paper Lovers...

This card is for our good friends for Father's Day. They have twins and they are so dang cute I thought this would be perfect. Their boys are almost 2 and love to skakeboard and ride their scooters. I think this captures them so well.
I used The Greeting Farm stamp and used my copics to color them in with, Im getting pretty good at the shadding part but Im still learning the skin tone process. I love coloing with my copics :)

The Gang in Palm Springs CA

Hi Paper Lovers...

Im back from the Memorial Day weekend and wanted to share this pic of all of us with you. I dont have any cards to share with you today but will soon.

We were at the Hyatt Grand Champions in Palm Springs CA over the 3 day weekend enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. It got up to 100 on Sunday which was our last day out by the pool and it was fabulous! We were all there together 11 of us in total. We arrived on Thursday moring around 10am, walked the strip and did some shopping, ate lunch and checked in to our hotel. We even hit up the Casino in the evening and gambled a little bit, but brought nothing back on this trip :( but we had a blast!
I love the Hyatt it is so nice and soothing. We layed out by the pool for 4 days and I got plenty of sun, we all did for that matter. Its hard for me to say I got to much sun cause I love it so much. We drank our Mai Tai's and cocktails, had snacks and swam in the bath like crystal pool.

Just thought Id share a little of what I love to do while Im not making cards with all my blog buddies. :)

Princess and the Frog...

Hi Paper Lovers...

Heres a gift bag I made for my friends little girl that is turning 5 on Saturday and everything is all about Princess of course. I used Once Upon A Princess cart and cut her to fit to page, I just love how she turned out and the color scheme is to match her party. I atteched her with pop dots to the front of the bag. I also made the little frog and cut him at 8" from CAC as the gift tag hanging from pink ribbon.
Did they turn out just so cute for a little girl who loves Princess :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Every year my 4 girlfrinds and I take a 2 hour drive out to Palm Springs which is in the desert and live it up! We lay in the sun for hours (using our sun screen of course at our age :) Walk around all the shops and buy things we dont need but have to have, go out to dinner at the Blue Coyote which is our favorite mexican restaurant :) then hit up the Spa Casino to throw our money away and sometimes we even bring some back home with us! I hope that happens this trip :) Thats what Im doing this holiday weekend, so Ill see you all back here on Tuesday. Enjoy your long weekend and Id love to know what you have planned over the 3 day weekend :)

Camo and Bling...

Hi Paper Lovers!

Hope everyone is having a great start to their week :) This morning I felt like coloring. I pulled out my Copic markers and stated to practice on several images from The Greeting Farm. This one I thought turned out pretty cool, and I really like it. I just received a box full of bling, pearls and flowers on friday from Custom Crops so I added a bit of bling to the mix and a small flower to tie it all together :) and here it is, my finished card :) I tried to color camo pants on her so if it looks blotchy thats what its supposed to be, lol.

Check out THEGREETINGFARM for some adorable stamps and they have digi's too. If anyone is starting copic markers remember that there are Ciao and Sketch Markers, the Sketch Markers hold more ink and Id suggest to start to purchase the Sketch Markers. I purchase all of my Copic Markers at

Using My Copics...

Today I pulled out my Copics and started to color and this is what I came up with! What do you think? Ive been taking some online classes to learn how to shade and color with my new Copic Markers and Im having such fun with watching the videos. Im learning alot and I just keep practicing :)

Grab My Blinky Bling!

Hi Paper Lovers...

Hope your week is going great! Ive been in quite a paper funk lately and am not feeling creative at all. I hope this passes soon. I really am missing it, but I seem to be in a blaaahh mode lately.

I also wanted to remind everyone that I have a Blinky that you can add to your blog, help show support for your fellow crafters. If you have a blinky pls let me know as well, Id love to add it to my blog.

My blinky is at the upper right hand corner and all you have to do is copy and paste it into your layout or customize page where you have add a gadget, you also can move them all around by clicking on them and draging them to where you want them :)

Im hoping to get back in the swing of things soon so I can share some more things with all of you. I keep blog hoping for insperation, boy, there is some wonderful blogs out there in blog land, I see all kinds of lovely cards and projects but when I go to my craft room I just go blaaahh...Need my mojo back!

Mini Album - Teresa Collins HOME Collection

Hi Paper Lovers!

Here is the Teresa Collins HOME Collection Mini I made for my DD for their new home. The papers are amazing as you can see. I used transperacies in the collection as frames to slide pictures into. A great tip for decrative ribbon is, instead of buying it, make your own, use Staz On ink and stamp images on the ribbon, this is what I did as you can see in the first picture on the white ribbon. I used the TC Home Collection stamps. I also made alot of room for pictures and journeling. I love this paper collection! It's simple yet classy looking. And to finish it all off, I used my Bind-It-All and ribbons.  This is the second mini I made and I really like making them, then next one Im making is by Teresa Collins as well and its her new Travel Collection, its just as beautiful as this one.

Princess Card and Tag

The Burtonesque Dolls challenge

Hello Paper Lover!

Here is a card I made this morning for Tbe Burtonesque Dolls Challenge! All you have to do is incorporate stripes into your card so I added black and white layered cardstock to make wide stripes, I didnt have any striped paper, can you believe that!? WOW! I need to go shopping lol! I used a digi image from TGF that my dear blog buddie gave me and used my Copic markers to color it in. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Strawberries and Kiwi's...

Hi Paper Lovers,

Here is a card I made myself for my Birthday today :) ...LOL! Why not right!

I asked a favor from my blog buddy Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n if she could cut me some strawberries from her Perserves cartridge which I dont have, yet! She was so sweet to do me this great favor for me. I received the package yesterday with an amzing card she made (she'll be sharing it with you tomorrow on her blog, so make sure you check her BLOG out, :) and a wonderful muffin reciepe, that I can't wait to try.

So, here's the card I made with the some of the strawberries she sent me. It's on a standard A2 card, with SU card stock, Doodlebug patterned paper, isnt it so cute, I love the kiwi's and strawberries together :)

Thank You Card...

Hi Paper Lovers...

I made this little thank you card for my sweet freind & her family that gave me 3 cricut cartridges for an early birthday present. They have twin boy that are almost 1 1\2 and Im Nuts About Them :) Their little family is so sweet and Im lucky to have them in my life so I thought this was the perfect card.
I used my Create A Critter Cart. cut the squirrel  at 3.5 and the phrase at 2 1/4, cardstock, the cutest patterened paper and all put on a kraft paper A2 card.

Also, I want to thank all of you for all of your sweet comments, awards and for following my blog. I check it everyday and look forward to see the amazing talent that I view while Im blog hopping, which I do alot!

A Little Ladybug Love...

Here's a card I made yesterday. I was in the mood for ladybugs and seeing red :) Using my new fav Create A Critter Cartridge, scrap card stock and pattern paper from my stash, pop up dots, ribbon from Michael's, all on a standard kraft colored card. And this is what turned out. I want to thank ALL of you for leaving such sweet comments, it really makes my day :D 

I also got an early Birthday present from my dear friend DeeAnn. Her and her adorable family gave me 3 Cricut Cartridges that she got at CostCo, I received Once Upon A Princess, Story Book and Stretch Your Imagination, how sweet was that. I am so excited to start using these new carts. Thank you so much !

Just A Little Hello

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far.  Ive been making a few little cards this morning, heres a cute little Owl card made with Create A Critter Cart. (what else would I be using lol)!
I am just loving this cartridge! So cute, so simple and so dang fun to put together :)
Using cardstock scraps, Spring Time paper pac and pop dots and dont forget the Prima flowers &  thats it :) wwaalllaaa! a cute little card !
