It's no wonder you have so many followers sweetie you are just fabulous! I love Valentine's Day, I think it's all the pink which is my fave colour and all that love floating around! I haven't made any plans yet for Valentines but we usually have a nice romantic meal at home when the little ones are in bed. I love getting the treats together for my daughters and I usually do treats for the class too but we'll see if I get time, I seem to get less and less time these days! Congrats on all your followers....sweet hugs xx
ReplyDeleteFirst, congrats on the milestone of followers....
ReplyDeleteSecond, why I LOVE Valentine's...hmmmm
the chocolate, NO...not a big fan of chocolate. Stuffed sweet animals, NO...never have been a doll/animal collector. Cards....YES.... my hubs always writes a very sweet(long)note in the card he gives me and he adds subtitles to the pre-printed sayings in the card he purchases. It makes it that much sweeter!!!!!
Hugs!!!
Crystal
Congrats on 200! I am SO happy for you! You TOTALLY deserve them all! I love Valentines because of all the colors...pink...the candy, and just the warm fellings for others. I will be going to dinner with my hubby and some friends on Friday night and then to the comedy club for some good laughs. We have my hubby's dogs for 10 days so no overnighter this year...but that's ok because we are off to Jamaica in 3.5 weeks! YAY! I hope you have a great day and CONGRATS again!

Hello. I have been a follower for a short time now. Love your stuff!! I love Valentine's Day simply for the fact that I do get sweet cards from my kiddos and my Husband decides to become romantic for a day. Ha!! My birthday is also on the 12th... so it is a tradition that my hubby or mom makes a heart shaped cake. Chocolate inside and out!! It is one of the few days a year where everyone all around just seems genuinely happy!! Bring on the Pink and chocolate!!

Congrats on your following, I am already a follower!
ReplyDeleteMy Birthday is the 16th so both get squeezed into one! Every year we go to Sonic they have a chocolate cherry sweetheart blast ice-cream that is only available during Valentine's day. The funny thing is I don't like ice-cream but I love this blast! I'm sure it has 1000+ calories so I will only eat it just on Valentine's day, it is my special treat! I also love that My husband sneaks my girls out and they buy me candies and make a candy "floral" arrangement. As they have gotten older I notice they now pick their favorite candy! LOL! But that's OK they are my little chickies!
I'm not sure what I will be doing except making lots of cards to send out for Valentines Day! Its my favorite holiday :-) Congratulations on 200!!!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure . That is my daughters birthday and valentines day. I usually have a special card for her and give her a special gift. My hubby and other children are not left out I usually leave a special card specially for them maybe their fav sport or character and then leave a little special something on their bed, so when they come home from school its for them.

Pinks and reds are my favorite colors, so I love the opportunity Valentine's Day presents to make cards and LO's using these colors. I love making cards and little goodie bags for all my grandkids, as well as for a couple of elderly people of my acquaintance that don't have many visitors or get much mail. I have a dear friend who has a birthday around Valentine's Day, so I always have a dinner party for her and we celerate Valentine's and her birthday together. Happy Valentine's Day to you. I have been a follower for awhile.
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on having so many followers!!! :)
I love, love, love Valentine's Day! Growing up, I couldn't get enough hearts-my whole room was hearts and rainbows. So I love making Valentine's! Usually, we start the day by leaving treats at our two children's breakfast plates (I haven't picked out this year's gifts yet, but one year it was a Valentine Beanie Baby and last year it was a heart-shaped box of See's Chocolates!). Then I make pink, heart-shaped pancakes. My children are young enough that I usually get to volunteer at their school parties (fun, fun!) and then we have a special home-cooked, gourmet Valentine's Dinner with my sister-in-law (my husband's sister), brother-in-law, and one other couple (now family). I always make heart-shaped creme brulee with raspberry sauce for dessert (& usually a chocolate heart-shaped cake, too)! And I send out tons of Valentines!!! (One year I included a picture of my son, who was only 3 months at the time, dressed up as a cupid!) Sorry, I'm rambling, but it's definitely one of my FAVORITE holidays (& I just get so excited!)!
Hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
Thanks for the chance to win,
Jennifer

Valentine's Day reminds you of what is important. No real plans this year but, hoping to stay in and snuggle with my kids and husband!!!
ReplyDeleteaidensmom 2005 at aol dot com
Well it wouldn't be american if I didn't say the best part of v-day was the chocolate! I will be making little cards with goodies for all the kids, then my husband will be taking me out to dinner, since I've been a diet for the past few weeks.
ReplyDeleteI love Valentine's Day because I not only have a wonderful husband (We celebrated our one year anniversary this year) but I've been blessed with 3 teenage stepdaughters, two of which live with us. I love that I get to give them an extra special card to tell them how much I love them too!!!

I had this monster plan for Valentine's day (just like the one I had for xmas) to make the cutest little monsters holding lollypops, but again I ran out of time. You say... what?!?!? FEB hasn't even started yet, right? well, when you have to make 25 of them, you kind of ran out of time if you don't start them at least 25 days in advance! So I went to Big Lots and found these adorable Basic Grey chicken boxes, they are as cute as they get + more! They were 6 to a pkg of I think $1.00.... can't beat that with a stick! So got those and putting lollipops insides and leaving the stick outside and tying a bow.
ReplyDeleteI even thought of buying that cartridge you are giving as blog candy, but let's say that hubby might not be to "valentiny" when the CC bill comes at the end of the month... LOL!!!! So for love to him I didn't get it... and for love to my little one I am giving her the cutest chicks I have ever seen... even though I know 4 yr old kids will destroy does innocent chicks!
OMG... i wrote a novel! © LOL!!!

humm, well the best think about Valentines is simply the chocolate. Yup thats it. I like to stay home on this crazy day and watch movies with the hubby and do take out.
ReplyDeleteCongrads on your 200 followers, am one. I plan to spend my day at home for my hubby has to work 2nd shift. But on Sunday I want to go out to eat or shop or just have time with each other. I love him that much. By the way thank you for the give away. Orlie at brians@tds.net
ReplyDeleteI love Valentine's Day because it means "I love us", sorta like that commercial. It's the day that we celebrate the loved shared between us, our children, our family and our friends. Like a wedding anniversary that includes everyone you love. This year, we are having our special red themed dinner, all sorts of red foods, treats and decorations for our entire family. I can't wait! Your blog is great! Thanks for the chance to win a Cricut cart!

Hi Gina!
ReplyDeleteIm a new follower on your blog! Thank you for a chance to win! What I like about Valentines Day is that I get to spend it with my true love, my husband of almost 5 yrs but been together for 14 years. We have 2 plans depending on how things will work out. One is we might go to a Japanese Restaurant and have a nice Romantic Sushi dinner or I will prepare his favorite dish which is Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo! I am going to bake cupcakes for him and we are going to share with each other one thing we love about one another.
Hi Gina, thank you for the nice giveaway!! I love Valentines because my son gets all excited about going out to dinner all dressed up like daddy and mommy! We love to go eat at this place called Crustacean where they have a glass fish tank on the floor and he just loves going there not only for the food but to check out the fish tank LOL!! Tell us your plans for V-day Gina:)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Norma
My plans, my honey and I are going to Lake Tahoe with a bunch of our close freinds and their families. Well all be together and thats the best part of it. Im making little valentines cards for all of them with a box of candies. well go skiing and playing in the snow. But the best thing ever is that well be all together. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful bunch of friends that weve known for years and they are very special to us, we love them so much. I cant wait to get all together, its going to be a blast!
ReplyDeleteI used to make chocolate heart suckers for my kids to take to their classes to give to their friends, they are know 25 and 19 and we still make the candies when they want to give them out to someone special but this year my daughter is doing her special thing with her boyfriend and my son in off at bootcamp. I miss the day when they where little :S
Thanks for asking what I plan to do.
Thank you all for leaving me such great comments and sharing with me what you plan to do. Good luck to everyone and Ill be choosing my lucky valentine winner on Friday :) keep checking back :)
Gina Congrats on the 200+ followers!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a blog award on my Blog stop by when you have a change
http://www.scrappinwithjc.blogspot.com
What a fun giveaway! I'm a new follower. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Valentine's Day, because it is a great reminder to me to stop and show appreciation for the people that I love most. I find it too easy to get "over-busy" and forget to really appreciate my super-special husband and kids. Valentine's Day is another occasion that helps me to show them how special they are to me.
This year, my dh and I are going to order a heart-shaped pizza for the kids, and then dh and I are going to go out to eat. I was able to order a special gift for dh this year, too, and I can't wait to give it to him! Don't tell, lol, but I ordered him a French Press Coffee Maker. He has been wanting one for a while!
Thanks so much for your fun giveaway. That is an awesome cartridge.
*smiles*
